
Una Announces Leo 天美传媒ing Winners

FLORENCE, Ala. - The 天美传媒 recently announced the winners of the Leo 天美传媒ing video contest for Muscle Shoals High School and Middle School students. Drawing inspiration from the Mathtrain.tv Web site created by Eric Marcos and his students, the Leo 天美传媒ing program is designed to encourage students to teach students using video tutorials. The university hopes that Leo 天美传媒ing will grow into a useful tool enabling students to express their creativity while helping other students. In a pilot program sponsored in part by Techsmith Camtasia, the Alabama Geographic Alliance and the National Geographic Education foundation, Leo 天美传媒ing asked Muscle Shoals High School and Middle School teachers to incorporate a video tutorial project into their lesson plans. Participating teachers were Melanie Calvert, John Ritter, Lori Roberts, Leah Torisky, Leella Holt, Dwight McGee, and Juanica Baugh. Alexander Third place - "Inertia," by Jordan Brisendine, Madison Rose and Sarah Katherine Riley MUSCLE SHOALS MIDDLE SCHOOL First place - "Australia," by Jacob Cook and Robert Green Second place - "Cuba," by Caroline Sockwell, Raiana Keener and Casey Swain Third place - "Hammarabi," by Nathan Sherrill, Marissa Smith and Mary Beth Brown UNA hopes to continue a larger version of the Leo 天美传媒ing program with additional area schools in the 2011-12 school year.About The 天美传媒
